Double Chocolate Brownies
This is definitely a fudgy brownie recipe, my favorite.
- 6 tbs coconut oil
- 6 ounces semisweet chocolate (i used regular baking chocolate chips)
- 1/4 cup Dark Chocolate Bar finely chopped
- 3/4 cup flour
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp fine sea salt
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 lg eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla
using a double broiler method, melt the coconut oil, semisweet chocolate, and dark chocolate till smooth. Let cool slightly.
In a separate bowl mix the flour, baking powder, and salt and set aside.
In your mixer whisk your sugar, eggs, and vanilla on medium speed for about 4 minutes.
Add the chocolate mixture, mix until combined. Reduce speed to low. Add flour mixture until well combined. Pour into your baking dish (8x8) and bake at 350 until your toothpick comes out clean about 35 minutes.
These were some of the best brownies I've ever had much less made. Very simple and just incredibly moist. I was having a major sweet tooth that was fully satisfied.
The original recipe is from "Martha Stewart's Cookies" cookbook. But of course I made my necessary adjustments like substituting coconut oil instead of butter.
And of course we're taking a humble moment to remember and appreciate the love, courage and true leadership of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Thank you for your courageous love and silent strength.
May we all be more kind and loving towards everyone.
