fresh tilapia
fish marinade sauce
fish marinating ready for broiling

ready to eat and oh my gosh....they were pretty dang good. not first date food though, these onions were powerful.

Fish Marinade Recipe
  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • juice from 1 lime
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 jalapeno
  • 1/4 cup cilantro chopped
  • a splash or two of red wine vinegar
Taco Toppings
  • chopped cabbage
  • pico de gallo (recipe below)
  • avocado
  • home made salsa (from your neighbors)
  • sliced radishes
Pico De Gallo
  • red onion
  • cilantro
  • white onion
  • lime juice
  • sea salt
  • cumin
  • fresh chopped tomatos

I marinated the fish for a good 20 minutes then broiled it for about 7 min on each side. I warmed the tortillas on a dry pan for a minute on each side. Lay the fish in and top it with your pico de gallo and toppings. So simple and really delicious. My kind of super bowl food!
